Our Story – From Care to Quality

HCE South was founded in 2014 in Charlotte, NC as an incontinence supply company for SC Medicaid, and a medical supply company for hospices. During this start-up phase, HCE South leveraged its expertise in wound care to become a wound care supplier in Skilled Nursing Facilities in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. In a short time, HCE South grew its wound care division and created an extensive Negative Pressure Wound Therapy program.

The wound care program was developed to bring the best in class wound healing products at the most affordable rate. Addressing the needs of SNF’s receiving lower reimbursement rates and the need for nurse education. The program includes a nationally recognized Wound Medical Director and a Wound Care nurse. In a short time grew a respiratory program and now provides all DME products.

HCE South currently services LTACH’s, Skilled facilities, and home patients across the United States. Providing products in most area’s same day or 2 days. Today, our DME program can virtually provide 99% of all products and supplies at a 20 -50% savings with best in class products with the same first-class service. We are full distributors for Genadyne, Medela, Invacare, Graham-Field, Resmed, Caire Medical, Drive, Medline, Proactive Medical, Dynarex, Sysco Guest Supply, 3B Medical, Posey, Compass and have third-party contracts with First quality and Covidien. With this, we strive to be the premier partner providing the best care and service for our accounts and patients with first quality care at affordable rates creating a win-win.
